My Artistic Journey
My hometown is Kingston, Ontario (often known as “The Limestone City”). For the past 24 years I’ve lived in beautiful South Ottawa. Here, I paint from my cozy country studio in Greely, Ontario. My love of art began ‘as soon as I could hold a pencil’! My dad was a very talented painter himself. He introduced me to his own love of oil and watercolour painting. I say with pride that my dad inspired my lifelong passion for art. I keep his memory and love of art alive with every brushstroke.

Education
I majored in Fine Arts and Psychology at Queen’s University and have been painting almost daily, ever since. I continue to take courses that challenge me and help me to grow and evolve as an artist. I am also a member of several art associations in Ottawa. These associations offer a platform for artists to share their personal journeys. Artists can collaborate, lend support, and learn from one another.
When I’m not Painting …

I’m running, hanging out with my two beloved dogs, Darcy and Séamus,or splashing about in a nearby lake or ocean!
